Subject Change Guidelines

Time Limitations

Subject changes are permitted only within the first 4 weeks of the semester. Requests after this period require special approval from the Dean.

Prerequisite Requirements

You must meet all prerequisites for the new subject. Previous academic performance in related subjects will be considered during evaluation.

Grade Implications

If changing after assignments have been issued, you're responsible for completing all work for the new subject by the original deadlines.

How many times can I change subjects in a semester?

You may request up to two subject changes per semester. Additional changes require special permission from the Academic Committee and are only granted in exceptional circumstances.

Will changing subjects affect my academic record?

Subject changes made within the first 4 weeks will not appear on your official transcript. Changes made after this period will be noted with a "SC" designation but will not impact your GPA calculation.

What if I want to change to a subject with scheduling conflicts?

How long does the approval process take?

Standard requests are processed within 3 business days. Requests requiring special approval may take up to 7 business days. You'll receive email notifications at each stage of the process.
